The deadly clash between India and China in the valley of Galwan five years ago, still stays afresh in the veins of the Indians. Now that a movie has been made, it is very obvious it would garner a lot of criticism. The Chinese have called the Salman Khan starrer ‘Battle of Galwan’ a movie that is ‘misinterpretation of facts’.
Global Times has published an article about this film, titled – ‘Battle of Galwan’ film controversy, no matter how dramatic the film is, it cannot affect the country’s border.
The newspaper quotes a Chinese expert as saying that it is wrong for this film to be released when relations between China and India are improving. This film can only present the Indian perspective and increase anti-China sentiment.

Salman’s hairstyle also criticized
The trailer for ‘Battle of Galwan’ was released on December 27, Salman Khan’s birthday. The film is said to be based on the clash between the Indian and Chinese armies in the Galwan Valley in 2020. Salman is playing the role of Colonel Santosh Babu in it.
On Chinese social media platforms, Salman Khan’s dress and his hairstyle have also been criticised. Chinese experts say that Bollywood films are for entertainment, but they cannot change history.
