BJP Set to Elect Nitin Nabin as New National President; Election Process to Start from January 18, Results on 20

BJP chiefs from all states will submit one set of nomination papers supporting Nitin Nabin's candidature for the post of national president.

BJP’s national working president Nitin Nabin may be appointed as the party’s national president. News agency ANI reported this, citing party sources. According to the sources, the announcement could be made on 20 January.

The election process for BJP’s national president is expected to be completed between 18 and 20 January. If Nitin Nabin is appointed, he will become the youngest person to hold this position. His term will continue until January 2029, but it could be extended due to the scheduled 2029 Lok Sabha elections.

The party is planning to call state presidents from across India to Delhi after 15 January. Earlier JP Nadda was made working president before being appointed as the national president.
