Mumbai: Mumbai witnessed an unforgettable evening as Shah Rukh Khan took centre stage at the Global Peace Honours 2025 and delivered one of his most heartfelt speeches in recent years. Shah Rukh Khan addressed the audience heavy heart standing in front of a crowd of people and remembering the lives of innocent people killed in terrible attacks and honouring the brave men and women who secure the country. SRK’s sincerity and calm presence set the tone for a night dedicated to courage, unity and hope.

SRK Pays Tribute to Victims and Soldiers

In a powerful moment, Shah Rukh bowed his head to honour the victims of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, the Pahalgam terrorist attack, and the recent Delhi blasts. Speaking with pride and pain, he said:

“My humble tribute to the innocent people who lost their lives in the 26/11 terrorist attack, the Pahalgam terrorist attack, and the recent Delhi blasts and my respectful salute to our brave security personnel who were martyred in these attacks.”

SRK then shared a line that instantly struck the audience, reminding everyone of the spirit of the Indian soldier:

“Jab koi poochhe tumse ki kya karte ho, to seena thok kar kehna main desh ki raksha karta hu. Poochhe agar koi, ki kitna kama lete ho, halke se muskura kar kehna, ‘140 crore logon ki duayein kama leta hu.’ Aur agar mudkar phir bhi poochhe tumse, ki ‘kabhi dar nahi lagta?’ Toh aankh se aankh milaakar kehna, ‘jo humpe hamla karte hain, unko lagta hai.”

His words received loud applause and left many emotional.
