Mumbai: The King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, celebrated his 60th birthday in grand style and fans across the world. Adding to the excitement, the superstar gave his fans the perfect birthday gift that is the teaser of his much-awaited action film, King, directed by Siddharth Anand.
While the internet exploded with love and wishes, many fans had gathered outside SRK’s residence, Mannat, in Mumbai, hoping to catch his traditional balcony appearance. However, the actor later took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a heartfelt message explaining why he couldn’t step out this year.
In his tweet, Shah Rukh Khan wrote,
“Have been advised by authorities that I will not be able to step out and greet all you lovely people who have been waiting for me. My deepest apologies to all of you but have been informed that it is for the overall safety of everyone due to crowd control issues. Thank you for understanding and believe me… I will miss seeing you more than you will. Was looking forward to seeing you all and sharing love. Love u all…”
Even though he couldn’t meet them in person, SRK made sure to connect with his fans through the teaser of King, which showcases him in a rugged, grey-haired look, playing an intense character in a stylish action-packed world. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film also stars Suhana Khan, marking her first collaboration with her father, along with Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, and more.
