Mumbai: New Zealand captain Sophie Devine won the toss and elected to bowl first in the crucial fixture against India at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

India has made one significant change to its middle order, bringing back Jemimah Rodrigues to strengthen the batting lineup. Rodrigues replaces allrounder Amanjot Kaur who bowled only four overs in the last match against England.

New Zealand, on the other hand, is fielding an unchanged side from their truncated clash against Pakistan four nights ago in Colombo.

Crucial Match for Semi-Final Hopes

This match is vital for both teams. India is looking to break a three-match losing streak, having fallen to South Africa, Australia, and England. While not strictly a must-win game for India a victory here would significantly ease their path to the semi-finals.

New Zealand is in a more precarious position. After two consecutive washouts in Colombo, they need to win their next two games to stay in contention for the semi-finals. New Zealand has secured only one win in their five games so far.
