Mumbai: The Indian entertainment industry is mourning the loss of veteran actor Pravina Deshpande, who passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the age of 60 after a long and courageous battle with multiple myeloma. Since 2019 she had been receiving treatment because of the illness. She was cremated the same day at 3 pm at Hindu crematorium, Chakala Parsiwada, Andheri East, Mumbai in the company of close relatives and friends.

The news of Pravina Deshpande’s demise was confirmed through an emotional statement shared on her official social media account by her family. The note indicated that Pravina died on February 17 after some years of power, stamina, and will to combat the disease.
