Vangelia Pandeva Gushterova aka Baba Vanga, was a blind mystic who is still popularly known as ‘Nostradamus of Balkans’ for predicting accurate futuristic situations. Among her predictions, the ones which were prominent ones are the 9/11 attack and floods that hit Britain in 2022. She had also predicted Princess Diana’s death and Covid in 2020. Born in Bulgaria, Vangelia lost her eyesight at the age of twelve and claimed that she gained her power of prophecy simultaneously.

Japanese manga artist Ryo Tatsuki, often called Japan’s Baba Vanga, predicted a massive earthquake in a 1999 comic titled The Future I Saw. While the predicted July timeline passed without incident, a 7.5-magnitude earthquake struck Japan on December 8, followed by an official megaquake warning, keeping the country on high alert.
