Mumbai: Oh My God 3 (OMG) has just become one of the most exciting upcoming projects in Hindi cinema. Rani Mukerji has been officially added to the cast of the film uniting two of the most glamorous stars of the 90s, Rani Mukerji and Akshay Kumar, in what is being termed as a big casting coup.
According to sources close to the development, the addition of Rani Mukerji has significantly elevated the scale of the project. Oh My God franchise is already amongst Akshay Kumar most adorable movie series, and with Rani included, the film is likely to provide freshness and emotions to the story.

The film is currently in the pre production stage and is expected to go on floors by mid 2026. Director Amit Rai, who returns after the success of Oh My God 2, has reportedly cracked a story that is bigger, more relevant, and more hard hitting than the previous installments. Akshay Kumar made it very clear at the start that the third part had to be bigger in all aspects, including plot, emotional and performances.
With Rani Mukerji coming on board, the makers believe the film has reached a new level altogether. Her massive screen presence and depth in acting should add seriousness to the story.
