Sharif’s UNGA speech was desperate, beggibg for “dailouge” with India, tossing in Kashmir and a dusty UN plebiscite demand. Begging after backing terror? That’s a surrender note, not diplomacy.
he also leaned gard on his “brother” allies – China, turkey, saudi Arabia, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Iran, UAE:- thanking them for “Invaluable support” with weapons and cash to survive India’s onslaught.
He even threw a Nobel Peace Prize nod at US President Trumo for “mediating” the ceasefire.
But Sharif ugliest jab was accusing India of spearding “Hindutva driven hate” worldwide. This from a nation that hid Osama bin Laden amd crushes its own minorities. Its not an accusation.. Its Pakistan’s guilt dressed up as outrage, a cheap shot that collapses under India’s pluralist truth.
At the UNGA, India’s first secretory petal gahlot fired back under the right of reply. “Absurd lies” she said. Followed by her brutally true statement “downed jets”? “If burned hangars are victory, Pakistan can keep dreaming”.
