Suriya’s ‘God Mode’ Song From Karuppu Releases; Fans Go Crazy

Mumbai: After the huge success of Retro, Tamil superstar Suriya returns on the big screen with Karuppu, marking his 45th film. The makers are yet to announce the release date of the film but they have released the film’s first single, ‘God Mode’ this Diwali.

Suriya in ‘God Mode’ as Karuppasamy

The four minute track highlights Suriya in full God Mode, portraying the human embodiment of Karuppasamy, a folk deity in tamil folk religion. The song depicts that his arrival excites the people and shows that the wrongdoers cannot escape from him. In chorus, Suriya is hailed as Karuppasamy.

In 24 hours, the first single from Suriya’s upcoming film Karuppu has gone viral. ‘God Mode’ song has already crossed Eight million views on Youtube, marking a powerful start for the film’s misic.

Earlier this year in June, the makers of Karuppu released its teaser, showcasing Suriya as a power-packed character, dressed in a black dhoti and shirt, before transitioning to a lawyer’s coat. This will mark Suriya’s third lawyer role, after Jai Bhim and Etharkkum Thunindhavan.
