The much-awaited first teaser of Michael, the Antoine Fuqua directed biopic of Michael Jackson starring his nephew Jaafar Jackson, landed on November 6, 2025 and has left the social media buzzing. The teaser, which Lionsgate and Universal rolled out worldwide has already got millions of views within hours and fans cannot stop praising the uncanny resemblance between the late pop star and his nephew Jaafar Jackson, who makes his film debut in the role.

Viewers were quick to note that Jaafar does much more than wear the costumes. He channels the King of Pop’s posture, facial expression, and stage mannerisms and captures every detail perfectly. The cast includes Colman Domingo, Miles Teller and Nia Long among others. Michael is currently scheduled for worldwide release on April 24, 2026, and is expected to be one of the biggest releases of next year.
