Mumbai: The makers of Laikey Laikaa, starring Rasha Thadani and Abhay Verma, have finally unveiled the first official poster of the film, giving audiences a glimpse into its intense and unconventional world. While the project was announced in June 2025, the team has kept most details tightly under wraps, making this first visual reveal all the more intriguing.
Supported by Phantom Studios in partnership with N2O Films, and directed by Saurabh Gupta, Laikey Laikaa is set as a romance drama with a lot of action in it. The film is slated for a theatrical release in Summer 2026.
First Poster Hints at Love, Conflict and Violence
The newly released poster chooses mood over faces. Rather than introducing the lead actors, it depicts two people standing side by side on a small platform with their shoes almost touching. The background features a rough, graffiti-covered wall, instantly creating a sense of tension and intimacy.
The most striking thing is the bloody shoes, suggesting that there is a tale of love and violence colliding. At the centre is the title Laikey Laikaa, written in bold graffiti-style text over a cracked heart symbol. The textures, splashes of red, and urban backdrop imply a crude and unpolished love story instead of a polished love affair.
Sharing the poster on Instagram, the makers wrote, “Earn Love! Saurabh Gupta Phantom Studios x N2O Films, Bhavna Talwar / Raghav Gupta Zee Music,” further adding to the curiosity around the film’s theme.
A New Chapter for Rasha Thadani and Abhay Verma
Laikey Laikaa marks another important step in Rasha Thadani’s growing film journey. She continues to build her presence in the industry with projects that aim to break away from predictable roles. She plays opposite Abhay Verma, who is a star whose performances are layered and nuanced.
Recently, Rasha Thadani was spotted in Delhi recording a song for the film along with Abhay Verma. An HT City report mentions that the shoot was held in several places such as Vijay Ghat, IG Colony, Lodhi Road, and Connaught Place. One of the insiders disclosed that it was a romantic song that had a clue of a young love affair against a real and busy city backgrounds.
Pictures from the shoot suggest that the film will balance romance with intensity, staying true to the gritty tone seen in the poster.
