Mumbai: The highly hyped pan-India movie Peddi, stars Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, has released its first single, Chikiri Chikiri. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and scored by the Oscar-winner A.R. Rahman, the song sounds like a playful and romantic tune. The movie Peddi is set to release on 27th March, 2026

Chikiri Chikiri is already hitting the internet with its hook and sun-kissing visuals. In the lyrical video and the promo of the entire song, Ram Charan in a charismatic avatar, while Janhvi Kapoor lights up the frame with lively expressions and graceful moves. The song Chikiri Chikiri is sung by Mohit Chauhan and composed by A. R Rahman. The makers say that “Chikiri” is to be a mere, happy, celebratory act of love, which will be addressed by the film along with action and sport-drama nature.
A the reports suggest Janhvi Kapoor is a central female protagonist (Achiyyamma), whose chemistry with Ram Charan is expected to be an important emotional core of Peddi. The movie is being marketed as a heart-warming mass entertainer, filled with high-octane scenes and warm romance.
