Mumbai: Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya has officially begun shooting for his next directorial venture under the Rajshri Productions with veteran actor Anupam Kher in a pivotal part.. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari in the lead roles. The much-anticipated project, went on floors on November 1, 2025.

Presented by Rajshri Productions in association with Mahaveer Jain Films and Anita Gurnani, the untitled film is ready to bring back Barjatya’s signature blend of emotion, relationships, and family values like his classic Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Vivah, and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
Veteran actor Anupam Kher went to social media to express his excitement about being part of the project. Kher wrote, revealing that this is his 549 th film.

Kher posted the video where he was giving an auspicious shawl of Ayodhya to Barjatya and wished the team to be blessed with a successful start. In the clip, Sooraj Barjatya revealed that this film marks his 8th directorial The movie is set to be a love, family, and emotional narrative, with Ayushmann Khurrana, Sharvari Wagh, and Anupam Kher and their charms and is bound to be just like Rajshri, classic in the way it tells a story.
There is a strong anticipation in the minds of the fans as Barjatya spins his magic yet again, with a new generation couple and a plot that will exude warmth, intimacy, and lots of heart.
