The gallery mixes old and new objects with digital screens and models. It has three main parts that show the past, present, and future of energy. One section, called Future Planet, lets people try an interactive activity made with the UK Met Office. It helps visitors understand how different climate choices can change our planet. The gallery also shows science tools like an air-sampling flask used to study the air and a satellite instrument that measures sea temperatures.

More than 1 Million students have visited the gallery on school trips. Families and students like it because it uses simple displays and activities that make learning about clean energy fun and easy to understand. The Science Museum said the gallery has helped many people talk more about using energy in better and cleaner ways.

The gallery was designed with a focus on saving resources. The designers reused more than 200 old metal shelves from the museum to display items, used aluminium that can be recycled, and added LED lights to save energy. This eco-friendly design also won an award for its sustainable work.

Sagar Adani, Executive Director of Adani Green Energy, said the gallery has inspired many people and shown how education can help build a greener world.

“We are honoured to witness Energy Revolution: The Adani Green Energy Gallery inspiring a million minds and igniting conversations around sustainability and innovation. At Adani Green Energy, we believe that a sustainable future is rooted in bold innovation and collective action. This milestone reflects the shared commitment to shaping a greener tomorrow and showcases the power of education in driving meaningful change. We congratulate the Science Museum Group on achieving this significant landmark and are proud to support a gallery that continues to trigger curiosity and nurture solutions for a cleaner, more resilient world.”

Ian Blatchford, Director of the Science Museum Group, said he was happy to see the gallery reach one million visitors and thanked everyone who helped make it possible.

The gallery is free for everyone and is located on Level 2 of the Science Museum’s West Hall. It continues to welcome school groups and visitors who want to learn more about energy, climate, and the environment.
