Mumbai: Fans of Yash are in for a treat as the makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups gear up to release the second teaser of the much-awaited period action thriller. The teaser will be released on February 20, 2026, at 9:35 AM, which will provide the viewers with the first longer look of the dirty world of Raya, the new on-screen avatar of Yash.

The film is slated for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Ugadi celebrations this year, promising an action-packed cinematic experience for fans across India and beyond.

What We Know About the Toxic Teaser

This was announced through the official social media accounts of the film. Together with the teaser date, there was also a new eye-catching poster posted by its makers, foreshadowing the grim and violent nature of the period gangster film. The team wrote, “9:35 AM | 20.02.2026. Toxic Teaser. Toxic In Cinemas Worldwide from 19-03-2026,” confirming the worldwide rollout of the teaser.

This upcoming glimpse comes after the first teaser was unveiled last month on Yash’s birthday. That preview provided audiences with a glimpse of his character Raya and made a major splash on the internet, especially because of the details that resonated with the previous comments of the director Geetu Mohandas in an earlier press conference.

Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is a period action thriller co-written and directed by Geetu Mohandas, featuring a powerhouse ensemble cast. The movies include Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth alongside Yash in major roles. Other supporting casts, like Akshay Oberoi, Sudev Nair, and Amit Tiwari are also considered pivotal roles.

Shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, Toxic is being dubbed in six Indian languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam, ensuring wide reach across audiences nationwide. The music and background score are done by Ravi Basrur and high octane action sequences are choreographed by John Wick action director JJ Perry and some action parts are done by the Anbariv duo.

To Yash, this is his first time back on the big screen in almost four years since KGF: Chapter 2, the blockbuster action saga by Prashanth Neel, which enjoyed a cult following.
