Mumbai: Actress Sreeleela has added another remarkable achievement to her journey. After six years of balancing a demanding medical course alongside a fast growing film career, she has officially graduated with an MBBS degree. The young star graduated at DY Patil University in Mumbai and her convocation ceremony was captured on camera and video on February 10 and is currently trending on social media.

Several visuals from the ceremony show Sreeleela dressed in a maroon convocation robe, proudly walking on stage to receive her medical degree. In another heartwarming clip, she can be seen taking a modern version of the Hippocratic Oath with her classmates. When their batch is declared as having officially become doctors, Sreeleela is caught smiling and madly cheering with her friends, which only makes the situation even more special to the fans.
The celebration has sparked widespread admiration, with many praising her dedication and discipline for achieving such a major milestone while working in films.
A Rare Balance Of Medicine And Movies
Born in 2001 to a Telugu family in Detroit, USA, and raised in Bengaluru, Sreeleela was inspired early by her mother, Swarnalatha, who is a gynaecologist. In 2017 she started her career as an actress with Telugu movie Chitrangada, and then as a lead actress with the Kannada movie Kiss in 2019, and Bharaate in the same year.
Since then, she has steadily built a strong presence across Kannada and Telugu cinema. Amid packed shooting schedules, promotions, and one film after another, she still found time to pursue her medical studies and demonstrated an incredible concentration and desire.
Now officially a doctor, Sreeleela stands out as one of the few young stars to successfully balance academics and stardom. On the work front, she is also preparing to make a much-anticipated Bollywood debut in an Anurag Basu musical romance which will increase her pan-India panache.
With this inspiring achievement, Sreeleela has proven that ambition, discipline, and passion can go hand in hand, both on screen and beyond.
