Mumbai: Fans of intense action films may finally have something big to look forward to. An image leaked on the sets of Force 3 has been leaked online and has been making waves in the cyberspace, providing audiences with the first impression on the new lineup of the film that everyone is eagerly anticipating.

The candid photograph seems to be a creative conversation in pre-production. John Abraham appears in the photograph standing among actors Harshvardhan Rane and Tanya Maniktala, suggesting their importance to the next installment of the smash-hit action series.

The director of the film, Bhav Dhulia, is standing at the center of the frame. Dhulia has been complimented earlier about his rough story telling in the web series Khakee: The Bihar Chapter. His presence indicates that the movie might shift to a more down-to-earth and realistic approach to action, which made the original Force (2011) a cult classic.

Harshvardhan Rane and Tanya Maniktala join the franchise

One of the biggest talking points from the leaked photo is the presence of Harshvardhan Rane. The actor has been on a good run following the success of his latest movie Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. This collaboration is especially special to fans because in numerous interviews Rane has discussed his admiration of John Abraham and has mentioned him as a mentor to him on multiple occasions.

Another newcomer in the Force universe is actor Tanya Maniktala. Tanya has a reputation as a performer in A Suitable Boy and the action thriller Kill, which adds a new energy to the franchise. According to industry insiders, she will have a greater presence in the industry and not merely a supporting role.

Force 3 Shooting begins in March

Although the makers are keeping the storyline tightly under wraps, industry sources say the film is set to begin shooting in March this year. The film is anticipated to have massive action scenes and remain grounded in the raw, desi action ethos that audiences had adored in the previous movies.

The other significant development is that the rights to the Force franchise have been reportedly reacquired by John Abraham. It was done so as to guarantee that the series is going where he initially planned.

With a fresh cast, a new director and the return of ACP Yashvardhan Singh, Force 3 is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated action films slated for release in late 2026.
