In a surprise mid-week elimination, popular contestant Mridul Tiwari has reportedly been evicted and this time, it wasn’t the usual Weekend Ka Vaar decision but a LIVE audience vote that sealed his fate!
According to inside reports, Bigg Boss decided to shake up the format with a thrilling live voting segment. For the first time this season, fans were brought inside the house to witness a special Captaincy Task, hosted by none other than Amaal Mallik. And the twist is that the live audience got a chance to vote in real-time for their favorite contestants not only to choose those to be the captain but also the one to be evicted.
The Task That Changed It All
In this high energy task, the housemates were divided into three teams; Team Gaurav Khanna, Team Kunickaa Sadanand, and Team Shehbaaz Badesha. The various teams competed in several entertaining but stressful matches to win the prize of being the captain of the team. Although the shows were full of comedy, carnage, and all the drama, the biggest shock of all was when the Bigg Boss announced that the contestant with lowest audience vote will be evicted from the house immediately.
Though the captian of the house is not dicide but the contenders of captaincy are Gaurav Khanna and Shehbaaz Badesha while Mridul Tiwari shockingly gets evicted from the house with the lowest live audience votes.
The eviction news of Mridul has left fans broken and angry at the same time. People went to social media and wrote that the decision was unjustified and completely unexpected. Mridul, who was calm yet sharp at the game, had been one of the most balanced and popular contestants during this season.
What’s Next Inside the Bigg Boss House?
Neelam Giri, Abhishek Bajaj, and now Mridul Tiwari are out of the game and the dynamics of the house is to change drastically. Tensions between the remaining teams are expected to escalate as the Captaincy Task continues and new alliances start forming. There have also been rumours that soon Bigg Boss could introduce wild card entries to add some spice to the competition but this has yet to be officially confirmed.
