Guwahati, 09 November (HS): As part of its 93rd Anniversary celebrations, the Indian Air Force (IAF) put up a breathtaking flying display over the majestic Brahmaputra River in Guwahati on on Sunday. The display beautifully reflected this year’s celebration theme — “Infallible, Impervious and Precise” — “अचूक, अभेद्य व सटीक.”

A magnificent line-up of fighter jets, transport aircraft and helicopters flew past Lachit Ghat, adding vibrancy to the skies of Guwahati. The showcase included the Tejas, Light Combat Helicopter Prachand, C-295 and Hawks, symbolising India’s growing air power and technological prowess. The Harvard, Sukhoi-30 and Rafale aircraft thrilled the spectators with stunning low-level aerobatics, while the grand finale featured synchronised manoeuvres by the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team and the Sarang Helicopter Display Team, leaving the audience spellbound.
The spectacular show left an indelible mark on spectators, particularly the youth of the Northeast, who were deeply inspired by the professionalism and courage of the Air Warriors. The display highlighted the IAF’s excellence and precision, instilling a strong sense of national pride and motivating many young viewers to aspire for a career in the Indian Air Force.
