Mumbai: Celebrations continue for Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna as the newly married couple received a special tribute from their upcoming film Ranabaali. Only a few days after getting married in a small ceremony at Mementos by ITC Hotels, Ekaaya in Udaipur on February 26 the film makers had unveiled a romantic preview video of their wedding song with the real life happiness and the magic on screen.
Ranabaali, a pan-India film directed by Rahul Sankrityan, has been among the most anticipated movies of the year and is set to have a massive global release on September 11. In another move, the production house Mythri Movie Makers released the first look and first song of the movie titled O Mere Saajan which not only made the moment a celebration but also doubled up the celebration among the fans.
Wedding Song Video Wins Hearts
The romantic track O Mere Saajan captures the wedding sequence of Ranabaali and Jayamma, played by Vijay and Rashmika. The video opens with festive preparations, traditional rituals, and beautifully decorated spaces, before showing the couple’s grand wedding entry in elegant traditional attire. The visuals then shift to tender moments from their life together, highlighting warmth, romance, and emotional depth.
The Hindi version of the song was composed by Ajay-Atul and the lyrics were penned by Kshitij Patwardhan and vocals were performed by Javed Ali and Shweta Mohan. The song was released in various languages thus increasing the hype in different regions.
In the video, the makers wrote an emotional caption to congratulate the couple on being united and giving a big congratulations to the couple who will live happily forever and as they start a new life together Ranabaali and Jayamma.
A Grand Historical Drama
Set against the backdrop of British-era India in the 19th century, Ranabaali is inspired by real historical events and is mounted on a lavish scale. Vijay Deverakonda plays the fierce and intense Ranabaali, while Rashmika Mandanna essays the role of his wife Jayamma. International actor Arnold Vosloo appears as the antagonist Sir Theodore Hector.
Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar are the producers of the movie under Mythri Movie Makers, and the project is presented by T-Series heads Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar. Having all the above factors of the great emotional heart, impressive scenery and magnificent acting, Ranabaali is turning into an enormous film event.
