Mumbai: The makers of Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups have officially announced the release of the film’s first single, titled Tabaahi, and fans are already excited. The romantic song starring Yash and Kiara Advani will be released on March 2, 2026, at 12:59 PM, and it will provide viewers with the first musical preview of this grandiose gangster action film.

Yash and Kiara Advani Turn Up the Romance in ‘Tabaahi’

Composed and sung by Vishal Mishra, Tabaahi is expected to bring a refreshing romantic touch to the intense world of Toxic. The song will be released in various Indian languages and thus will reach many people. Yogaraj Bhat, Raj Shekhar, Ramajogayya Sastry, Vignesh Shivan and Rafeeq Ahammed have written lyrics in various versions.

The track is expected to be a big attraction even before the film theatrical release on March 19, 2026, on the eve of Ugadi, but with the promise of having a visually vivid frame and emotional resonance.

Directed and co written by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is a period action thriller that blends intense storytelling with grand visuals. The actors of the movie include Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth along with Yash and Kiara Advani in supporting roles. Sudev Nair, Akshay Oberoi, and Amit Tiwari also feature in key supporting roles.

The movie was also reportedly frozen at 3 hours and 15 minutes, so it is a little shorter than the next epic, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which is estimated to be 3 hours and 40 minutes. Simultaneously shot in both Kannada and English, the film will also be dubbed and released in Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil.

Ravi Basrur composes music and background score, and the international stunt director, J. J. Perry, who worked on the John Wick franchise, has choreographed a few action scenes. The popular Anbariv duo also deals with select action portions, which will have high impact combat sequences.

Nearly in the past, the creators provided an eye-catching sneak preview in which Yash appeared in two strong forms as Raya and Ticket. The trailer provided a more in-depth glimpse into the dark and dirty underworld environment of the movie and sent fans away wanting more.
