Mumbai: Bollywood stars Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday have given their fans a major surprise. Their highly anticipated romantic film, ‘Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri’, will now be released earlier than its previously announced date. The film is now set to hit theaters worldwide on December 31, 2025, on the very last day of the year.
The announcement was made by Kartik and Ananya themselves through a post shared on their official Instagram accounts. Kartik wrote in the caption,
Your last day of the year is with us 💕 #TuMeriMainTeraMainTeraTuMeri releases 31st Dec 2025 !! The year ends but Love Begins ❤️”
Since this announcement, the excitement for the film among fans has grown even more. The movie was previously scheduled for a February 2026 release.
A Dharma Productions Film
The film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures, and is directed by Sameer Vidwans of ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ fame. This will be the second time the pairing of Kartik and Ananya will be seen on screen after their film ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’. The movie also features veteran actors like Jackie Shroff and Neena Gupta in pivotal roles.
Stars Busy with Other Projects
Besides ‘Tu Meri Main Tera’, both stars are also busy with their other professional commitments.
- Ananya Panday is currently on a break from work and is vacationing in the Maldives. Her upcoming projects include the film ‘Shankara’ and the web series ‘Call Me Bae’.
- Kartik Aaryan, following his blockbuster ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, is now preparing for major films like ‘Aashiqui 3’ and the action movie ‘Captain India’ with director Kabir Khan.
Releasing at the end of the year, ‘Tu Meri Main Tera’ will get a major festive window and is expected to perform spectacularly at the box office.
