Shraddha Kapoor’s Playful Yet Powerful Review
On Monday, December 15, Shraddha Kapoor took to her Instagram Stories to share her reaction after watching Dhurandhar. Her review stood out for its humour and emotion. She sarcastically referred to director Aditya Dhar as truly terrible to create such a gripping movie and then leave audiences wait three months to see Part 2.

Shraddha Kapoor urged the team to prepone the sequel’s release, writing that the experience was phenomenal. Shraddha also revealed that she would have gone back to watch the film again immediately if she did not have an early morning shoot the next day.
Praising the year’s Hindi cinema Shraddha Kapoor referred to Chhaava, Saiyaara and Dhurandhar as some of the best performances of the year and the extent to which the industry has performed this year.
Calling Out the Noise Around the Film

Shraddha also dealt with the problems experienced by the film prior to release. She talked of the way Dhurandhar had managed to come out of bad publicity, creating controversies and undue criticism. Drawing on the previous remarks by Yami Gautam about negative PR culture, Shraddha further added that there cannot be a bad hand that can bring a genuinely good movie down and that it is the viewers who will determine the destiny of a movie.
Director Aditya Dhar responded warmly, sending love and gratitude to Shraddha for her heartfelt support.
Celebrities Rally Behind Dhurandhar
Shraddha Kapoor joins a growing list of celebrities who have praised the film. The spy thriller has been praised by actors such as Vicky Kaushal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Allu Arjun. The fact that this appreciation is received by the whole industry is what has only helped the movie build a stronger reputation in the list of the most impactful films of the year.
Inside the World of Dhurandhar
Dhurandhar is inspired by the real life events wherein it narrates the life of a spy that infiltrates the gang of Rehman Dakait in Lyari, Pakistan. His mission is not only to dismantle the criminal network but also to pass critical intelligence to RAW about its connections with the ISI, with the larger aim of fighting terrorism. The film blends intense action with political tension, making it a gripping watch from start to finish.
Record Breaking Box Office Run
The numbers tell a remarkable story. In less than 10 days, Dhurandhar has been able to cross Rs 500 crore globally. India alone has contributed nearly Rs 400 crore, while overseas collections stand at USD 11.95 million, which is around Rs 108 crore.
The film witnessed a massive jump in its second weekend overseas, earning USD 5.50 million or Rs 49 crore. This is a 68 percent jump on its opening weekend, becoming the third biggest second weekend overseas of a Bollywood movie following Jawan and Pathaan.
