Mumbai: As Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan approaches his 60th birthday on November 2, 2025, fans are preparing a party that is bigger than cake and candles. PVR Cinemas and Red Chillies Entertainment have dedicated a Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival in honor of the King Khan, bringing seven of his most iconic movies back to the big screens.

The Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival will be launched on October 31, 2025, and will last two weeks in 30+ cities and 75+ cinemas in India. A few of the films will also be released in the Middle East, North America, UK, Europe, and Australia as well as internationally. The theatres will give fans an opportunity to revisit the magic of the SRK filmmaking career, spanning more than thirty years.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Announcement

SRK took social media to tell about the festival in his usual way, with charm and humor. Some of my previous films are coming back to the theatres. The man in them hasn’t changed much – just the hair… and a little more handsome… The Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival begins on 31st October! In select theatres across India, in association with PVR INOX. A YRF International release across the Middle East, North America, the UK, Europe, New Zealand and Australia.” he laughed.

The festival will include a curated films of Shah Rukh Khan that are most memorable:

  • Chennai Express (2013)
  • Devdas (2002)
  • Dil Se (1998)
  • Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na (1994)
  • Om Shanti Om (2007)
  • Main Hoon Na (2004)
  • Jawan (2023)

This collection covers the career milestones of SRK, including both his early love hits as well as current blockbusters that also allow the fans to see how he has developed as an actor on screen.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Work Front

Recently, Shah Rukh Khan starred in The Ba*ds of Bollywood, the directorial debut of his son Aryan Khan on Netflix. His next movie King, directed by Siddharth Anand, with Deepika Padukone and his daughter Suhana Khan, is another film the fans can look forward to. There is no mention of the release date of King.
