Mumbai: Actor and dancer Nora Fatehi has eventually spoken out against rumors that have long surrounded her connecting her with T Series chairman and managing director Bhushan Kumar. The speculation, which first surfaced years ago on Reddit, recently made its way back into public discussion after a TikTok video revived the old claims, forcing Nora to react in her own way.
The controversy began when a TikTok creator shared a video using the screenshot of a Reddit post from five years ago. The original post had questioned Nora’s lifestyle and claimed she could only afford luxury bags, stylish outfits, expensive cars and her growing confidence because of an alleged affair with Bhushan Kumar. Although this rumour dissolved over the years, the Tik Tok video resurfaced in the news.

Unlike in the past, Nora Fatehi did not ignore the chatter this time. A Reddit user later shared a screengrab showing Nora’s comment on the TikTok video. Her response was short but telling. She simply wrote “wow” followed by a laughing emoji. The remark immediately drew notice and was interpreted by most people as a brutal sarcastic response to the baseless claims.
Social media users were quick to react. One Redditor joked that commenting on the video may have brought even more attention to the rumour. The other user indicated that it was very irresponsible to transform unverified Reddit gossip into Tik Tok content, where the viewer may take this information as true. Some of the users were also worried about the fact that such speculation can destroy reputations in exchange of likes and views.
The discussion has once again highlighted how quickly old online gossip can resurface and gain credibility when shared across platforms without context or verification.
Fresh dating buzz and Bhushan Kumar’s family life
The resurfaced controversy comes at a time when Nora Fatehi is already being linked to someone else. Recently, rumours started doing the rounds that she might be dating Moroccan football star Achraf Hakimi after he liked one of her social media posts. Although neither Nora nor Hakimi have commented on these allegations, it has fueled the already existing online conversation concerning her personal life.
Bhushan Kumar, on the other hand, has been married to actor and filmmaker Divya Khosla since 2005. The couple has a son who was born in 2011 and their family life has mostly stayed out of the controversies of the media.

On the work front, Nora Fatehi continues to stay busy across films and music. She was last seen in the 2025 film Ufff Yeh Siyapaa and also appeared in the song Dilbar Ki Aankhon Ka from Thamma. Her next appearance will be in the Kannada action film KD: The Devil and much anticipated film in Tamil horror Kanchana 4.
