Mumbai: Television couple Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij are reportedly heading for divorce after being seperated for quite some time. According to Hindustan Times, the couple married in a private ceremony in 2010, but a few months ago, they officially registered a divorce. Sources disclosed that the papers were signed and finalised in July – August 2025 and the custody of their three children has already been settled.
Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi have a biological daughter named Tara, who was born in 2019, and foster children Rajveer and Khushi, whom they adopted in 2017. A source told Hindustan Times, many efforts had been made, but nothing had changed. The long time ago separation happened. A couple of months ago, they filed for divorced. The documents are signed and completed in July-August, and even the custody of the children has been determined.

It has been reported that lack of trust was a primary factor in the poor relationship between the couple. The two were once known for their joint family vlogs but the two stopped posting since June 2024. The last time they were seen together was at Tara birthday celebration in August where they reportedly maintained distance.
Since their separation, the two have taken different directions. Jay Bhanushali has recently posted some photos of a trip he has gone with his daughters and two weeks ago Mahhi has moved with the kids into a new home. Jay on October 18, posted a reel in Tokyo with his daughter Tara and said, Tokyo drift toh suna hoga, now see how father and daughter drift in Shibuya crossing.
The fairytale marriage of Jay and Mahhi, who were once one of the most-loved couples on television, is over. The two have already decided to separate and go their own way, despite numerous attempts to have it work out.
