Mumbai: Do Deewane Seher Mein, shot by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, directed by Ravi Udyawar, finished its first weekend with a nett of Rs 4 crore at the Indian box office. The romantic movie earned Rs 1.35 crore on Day 3, and the movie experienced a minor decline of approximately 10 percent on Day 3 in comparison to the previous day.
Despite decent word-of-mouth, the film could not show the strong growth expected over the weekend, raising concerns about its long-term box office prospects.
Weekend Performance and Day-wise Collection

The film got a medium start making Rs 1.20 crore on the first day. On Day 2, it experienced a slight growth and received Rs 1.45 crore. But Day 3 figures were a little lower with collections of Rs 1.35 crore. This makes the overall opening weekend earnings to be Rs 4 crore.
Interestingly, trade reports suggest that the first-day numbers may have been supported by ticket offers at PVRINOX. On Day 2, the chain experienced a decline, and the increase in other centres was 40-50 percent. Monday performance is now the focus of the entire eyes and it would be a matter of deciding whether the film will or will not be successful at the box office.
Tough Road Ahead Despite Clear Run

The box office trend thus far is showing a poor performance run, with the movie not yet recording the much needed performance in the critical opening weekend. It will have to pass the Monday test and continue to record consistent collections over the next few days to remain in the race.
The only positive factor working in the film’s favour is its clean release window. With no major releases for the next couple of weeks until Dhurandhar and Toxic hit theatres, the film has some breathing space to improve its numbers.
