Mumbai: With the buzz surrounding Ikkis growing, one emotional back story has emerged that is incredibly heart-wrenching, and it has given the film an entirely different dimension. In a rare and touching creative choice, Bobby Deol has lent his voice to dub a few dialogues for his father Dharmendra, bringing the legendary actor’s younger on screen persona to life.
This special collaboration is being seen as a heartfelt bridge between generations, both within the Deol family and in the story being told on screen. Bobby’s voice has been used to reflect the character’s younger phase, creating a smooth and intimate transition across timelines. The makers have recognized this special input by specially crediting Bobby Deol in the movie.
A tribute that goes beyond the screen
The decision to involve Bobby Deol was driven by emotion as much as storytelling. His voice is genuine and warm, and it enables audiences to experience the continuity of the character on the journey. This artistic decision makes Ikkis more than a war movie to many. It becomes a film rooted in legacy, respect, and family bonds.
This emotional connection has already begun to resonate with viewers. These first impressions of Ikkis have been extremely positive with early responses stating that the movie is sincere, emotionally charged, and well told. The critics have pointed at the fact that the movie has managed to balance between the personal moments and the bigger narrative of sacrifice and courage.
