Priyadarshan Opens Up About the Shoot

The director of the film, Priyadarshan, who has worked with Akshay Kumar in a number of successful films, brought out the insights into the painful yet fruitful experience. He revealed that Akshay, known for his disciplined routine and early bedtime, went out of his comfort zone for this demanding shoot.

Akshay Kumar is known to sleep early, but, during the five days to get the sequence right, he spent all the night awake. The busy South Mumbai setting was turned into an adrenaline rush, complete with screaming engines, squealing tires, and camera cranes to capture every dramatic action.

Sources also added that part of the chase was shot at Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), making it one of the most logistically difficult shoots of the year.
