Mumbai: Actors Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda are set to collaborate again after winning hearts with their blockbuster romantic film Saiyaara. The popular on screen pair surprised fans by announcing a new project through a joint Instagram post, instantly sparking excitement online.
Sharing a short announcement video, the duo wrote, “This summer, the story takes a turn. A new chapter begins. Trailer coming soon.” In the clip, Ahaan and Aneet are seen posing in breezy summer outfits, hinting that the upcoming project could be a collaboration with a brand. Although the visuals have generated curiosity among the fans, the actors have kept more information about the project a secret at this time.
Their reunion has already generated buzz on social media, especially among fans who loved their chemistry in Saiyaara. Many users flooded the comments section expressing excitement to see the duo together again.
How Saiyaara changed Ahaan & Aneet’s careers
Saiyaara was released in July 2025 and became a breakthrough to both the actors. Yash Raj Films produced the romantic drama Directed by Mohit Suri and followed the story of two love-struck individuals going through dramatic rises and crushing falls in an attempt to cling to their complicated relationship.
The movie was vaguely based on a South Korean film bearing the same title, A Moment to Remember, in 2004. The movie was a massive success in theatres and earned over Rs 5.79 billion in the international market. It was also the third highest grossing Hindi film of 2025 and the biggest grossing Indian romantic movie of all time.
To Ahaan Panday, Saiyaara was his first involvement in an acting industry, and was a significant platform to his career. He was an offspring of the famous Panday family that had been in the limelight already but the film allowed him to demonstrate his acting skills and reach the audiences.
For Aneet Padda, the film served as a breakthrough moment. Before Saiyaara, she had appeared in smaller projects including a brief role in Salaam Venky, which starred Kajol. The success of the romantic drama introduced her to a much wider audience and helped establish her as a promising new face in the industry.
