Mumbai: The long swirling rumours have finally settled. Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu and director Raj Nidimoru have reportedly gotten married, and a source confirmed to HT City that the ceremony indeed took place early Monday morning. According to the insider, the wedding took place at a calm Temple named Ling Bhairavi inside the Isha Yoga Centre of Coimbatore.
Witnesses say the ceremony was extremely private, with only 30 guests in attendance. Samantha was seen wearing a red saree for the occasion, choosing a traditional and elegant look for her special day.
Speculation Peaks After Cryptic Social Media Post
Whispers about the wedding began late Sunday night when fans noticed unusual activity on social media. Raj’s ex wife, Sshyamali De, posted a quote on her Instagram stories that read, “Desperate people do desperate things,” which immediately grabbed attention and raised eyebrows.
The cryptic message added fuel to the speculation, especially since the two reportedly divorced in 2022. This post appeared only a few days after an earlier post where she talked about her past debts and karmic ties, prompting fans to question whether she was telling a hint about what was happening in the personal life of Raj.
A Relationship That Slowly Stepped Into the Spotlight
Reports of Samantha and Raj Nidimoru’s growing closeness began circulating in early 2024. Over time, the actress started sharing pictures with the director on her social media, making their connection more public. Interestingly, while HT City’s source confirmed that the wedding took place, earlier reports from Filmibeat suggested that the ceremony was scheduled for Monday, December 1. Both reports pointed to the Isha Yoga Centre as the venue.
