Mumbai: Veteran Indian screenplay writer Salim Khan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on February 17 after his health reportedly deteriorated. The 90-year-old has been admitted to the ICU, where he is currently undergoing treatment. Although the hospital has not issued a comprehensive medical update so far, a doctor has confirmed that he is admitted to the ICU and asked the media to contact the family so that they could learn more about it.
So far, no official statement has been issued by the Khan family regarding his condition. However, his son Salman Khan was spotted arriving at the hospital shortly after his father was admitted. A group of security officers was with the actor who was being observed leaving the hospital after approximately half an hour in the hospital. His visit created panic among fans, who filled social media with prayers and wish that Salim Khan would recover fast.
Several members of the Khan family also visited the hospital to check on Salim Khan’s health. These included Arpita Khan, Ayush Sharma, Alvira Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Arhaan Khan, Nirvan Khan, Ayaan Agnihotri, and other close relatives. The fact that they were there made the situation serious, and the family has opted to have privacy at this moment. There is still no official report on his status.
