The wait is finally over. Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have officially begun a new chapter of their lives as husband and wife. The couple who had been loved on screen, the ViRosh as the fans refer to them, got married in a lovely wedding ceremony on February 26 at the luxurious ITC Mementos hotel at Udaipur. Their wedding pictures are out and they are truly magical.
The couple adhered to the ancient Telugu and Kodava customs, making the ceremonies close-knit, in a graceful and very cultural manner. Rashmika and Vijay gave their long time affair a life fairy-tale in the company of close family and friends.
A Royal Wedding Look Straight Out of a Dream
For the big day, both Rashmika and Vijay opted for regal traditional outfits designed by ace designer Anamika Khanna, and the results were breathtaking.
Rashmika looked graceful and radiant in a rust hued saree paired with a heavily embellished blouse detailed with golden accents. The most notable thing in her, was her traditional jewellery, with multilayered necklaces, baajubandhs, maang tikka, kada and oversized jhumkas. The actress maintained her make-up light and natural with lip and a luminous base being natural with the open wavy hair being strangled with fresh mogra strings and a massive hair ornament, which added an added element of sophistication.
Vijay matched her royal vibe perfectly. He appeared as a prince in an ivory dhoti figure to the last, and in a vermillion angavastram which was strikingly dressed. Its drape was heavily embroidered in forest and temple motifs which were symbolic of power, heritage and sacred architecture. Vijay finished his looks with a royal kamarbandh, statement necklace and fancy studs thus completing his wedding dress with a grand finish.
Emotional Notes That Touched Millions
Soon after the ceremony, the newlyweds shared their first wedding photos on Instagram, along with heartfelt messages that left fans emotional.
Vijay wrote a very personal note, how he would be missing Rashmika one day and this would make him see that she was home and peaceful. He wrote that it seemed that life was better, meals seemed warmer, everyday moments seemed more meaningful when she was around.
