New Delhi: Infosys has won a massive contract worth Rs 14,000 crore (about $1.6 billion) from the UK’s National Health Service (NHS). The project is intended to develop a contemporary workforce management system within the hospitals in England and Wales. The system will facilitate planning of staff, scheduling of shifts and enhancement of operations of the hospital, and it will result in faster and smooth healthcare services.

This is sold to NHS Business Services Authority that does some significant administrative business on behalf of NHS. Infosys will be used to substitute the aged system with a new digital system. This will assist in allocating employees more effectively, real time monitoring of work done, leave and performance monitoring. It will also decrease paper work and errors and simplify the operations of the hospital.
This is how Infosys to ease hospital work
Infosys will handle all the processes including designing, developing the system itself and implementing it as well as offering continuous support. Through this, hospitals are able to manage the shortages of the staff, schedule shifts with ease and also ensure good services.
This will save time and make work simpler. The system is flexible and can handle a large workforce efficiently.
This is one of the biggest contracts Infosys has received from the UK and shows the world’s trust in Indian IT companies.
