A Quick Look Back at Dabangg 1, 2 and 3

The Dabangg franchise began in 2010 with the first film directed by Abhinav Kashyap. Salman Khan introduced fans to the fearless, quirky, and big-hearted cop Chulbul Pandey. Sonakshi Sinha made her Bollywood debut as Rajjo, and the film became a blockbuster thanks to its punchy dialogues, chartbuster songs and masala entertainment.
Dabangg 2 was released in 2012, directed by Arbaaz Khan himself. It continued Chulbul’s journey as a police officer, taking on new villains while also focusing on his family life with Rajjo. The film delivered the same massy entertainment and again turned into a box office hit.
Dabangg 3 arrived in 2019, directed by Prabhudeva. The film explored Chulbul Pandey’s origin story, showing how he became the much-loved Robin Hood cop. Though its release was affected by external circumstances, the film kept the franchise alive and maintained strong audience recall.
Work Front
Salman Khan was last seen in AR Murugadoss’ Sikandar and is now preparing for his upcoming film Battle of Galwan. Sonakshi Sinha, who plays Rajjo in Dabangg, was last seen in Nikita Roy and Jatadhara.
With Dabangg 4 now in early development, fans are excited to see whether the original cast reunites once again on screen.
