Mumbai: After they celebrated their wedding, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have jumped right back into the work mode. The popular on-screen pair is currently filming for their upcoming period action drama Ranabaali, helmed by Rahul Sankrityan with the reports early from the sets stating that there is no space for personal moments and more of focusing on professionalism.
The latest shooting schedule began on Friday in Anantapur, where the couple is said to be fully committed to the film. Despite the buzz around their recent wedding, there is no special treatment or visible change in their work routine.
No Room for Distractions on Set
According to a source from the unit, Vijay and Rashmika are following a strictly professional approach while filming. They are not taking breaks together or taking breaks from work to be together as a couple.
The source revealed that on set, they act just like any other co-stars. This disciplined approach has made a strong impression on many of the team, particularly considering the attention they have received around their personal lives. Their focus is never off of performing the work: creating strong performances, not letting their real-life equation affect the shoot.
Ranabaali Becomes a Crucial Film for Vijay
Ranabaali holds significant importance for Vijay Deverakonda’s career at this stage. The actor has been searching for a solid box office success for years. Interestingly, his last major hit was Geetha Govindam in 2018, which also featured Rashmika Mandanna.
Since then, several of his films including NOTA, Taxiwallah, Dear Comrade, World Famous Lover, Liger, Kushi, Family Star, and Kingdom have not delivered the expected results at the box office.
This makes Ranabaali a high-stakes project. Insiders suggest that Rashmika is well aware of the pressure Vijay is under and is putting in extra effort to support the film. A close friend of the couple shared that she is going above and beyond to ensure the project turns out well.
With a strong story, a successful director, and a lead pair with proven chemistry, Ranabaali is shaping up to be one of the most discussed films in the months to come.
