The Venezuela is under strike by the US Forces. India on Sunday expressed ‘extreme concern’ over recent developments in Venezuela and said it is closely monitoring the evolving situation, according to a press release issued on January 4, 2026.
“Recent developments in Venezuela are a matter of deep concern. We are closely monitoring the evolving situation,” the statement said. India urged the involved parties to resort to dialogue and diplomacy.
“India reaffirms its support to the well-being and safety of the people of Venezuela. We call upon all concerned to address issues peacefully through dialogue, ensuring peace and stability of the region,” the statement said.
