Mumbai: The makers of the upcoming bilingual action drama Dacoit have unveiled its Hindi teaser, giving audiences a gripping first look at a violent and emotionally charged world. The teaser stars Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur as its protagonists, with Anurag Kashyap playing a pivotal role in the film, which promises to be a raw, high-stakes film that is theatrical to the core.
A gritty glimpse into Dacoit’s world
The teaser in Hindi is loaded with a lot of action, suspense and breathtaking visuals. Adivi Sesh plays with a fierce and ruthless avatar, which suggests that he is a character of conflict and surviving. The Telugu teaser was released in Hyderabad whereas the Hindi version was released in grand event in Mumbai. This dual launch reflects the film’s clear pan-India ambition and its aim to connect strongly with audiences across regions.
A debut director with a bold vision
Dacoit marks the directorial debut of Shaneil Deo, who has also co-written the story and screenplay along with Adivi Sesh. Supriya Yarlagadda is the producer, Suniel Narang the co-producer and Annapurna studios the presenter of the film. Shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, the project has been mounted on a large scale to ensure a seamless bilingual cinematic experience.
The trailer suggests stylised action sequences, high tension confrontations and somber visual tone. Dark editing and a throbbing background song also contribute to the high intensity of the movie, making Dacoit more of a serious, character-based action film than a standard commercial entertainer.

Dacoit is scheduled for a grand pan-India theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
