Dhar/Madhya Pradesh: On September 17, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked his 75th birthday, not with pause but with purpose, reinforcing India’s ascent on the global stage.
While the Honourable Prime Minister inaugurated transformative projects in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, the nation celebrated a parallel triumph in Mandsaur’s Gandhisagar Wildlife Sanctuary, where the Cheetah Rehabilitation Project advanced with the release of a female cheetah, Dheera.
At 3:30 p.m., Dheera, brought from Kuno National Park, sprinted into Gandhisagar’s open fields, joining male cheetahs Prabhas and Pavak.
This milestone, part of a ₹12,000 crore conservation effort, revives a species extinct in India since 1952. Initiated three years ago on PM Modi’s birthday, the project now boasts 27 cheetahs nationwide, symbolizing India’s commitment to environmental stewardship and global leadership in conservation.
PM Modi’s broader legacy resonates worldwide. Global leaders, including Bill Gates, praised his digital revolution for redefining the Global South, while Benjamin Netanyahu lauded him as a “global pivot” for India-Israel ties. Mukesh Ambani endorsed his vision for India’s centennial independence in 2047. On X, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s tribute highlighted achievements like nine new IITs, 88,000 kilometers of highways, and the Ram Mandir’s consecration.
Under PM Modi’s leadership, India’s GDP has doubled to $4 trillion, 50 crore citizens benefit from Ayushman Bharat, and UPI has become a global financial model. Reforms such as Article 370’s abrogation and GST reflect bold governance, though challenges like unemployment persist.
As Dheera roams Gandhisagar, she mirrors an India unbound driven by a leader whose 75th year is not merely a milestone but a testament to a nation forging its future with resolve.
