Mumbai: After a tremendous hype around its teaser, Haq, by Junglee Pictures, the company behind some of the most powerful and conversation-starting movies of the last few years, such as Raazi, Talvar, and Badhaai Do, is preparing to have its big release on November 7. The film directed by Suparn Verma.
The new character poster of Yami Gautam Dhar and Emraan Hashmi has increased excitement. The poster of Yami represents the strength of a woman who defends her dignity and rights whereas the poster of Emraan depicts the confusion of a man who only supports law, religion and conscience. The combination of the three creates the atmosphere of a captivating plot combining faith, right, and morality.
‘Haq’s’ New Song Qubool Released
To make things even more interesting, the makers have already unveiled the first song of the film, which is Qubool, introduced by Junglee Music. Written by Kaushal Kishore, composed by Vishal Mishra and sung soulfully by Armaan Khan, the track perfectly describes the emotional heart of Haq. Qubool is the phrase of tender love that is revealed in unspoken words, glances and longings, in some sort of melody which is very intimate and cinematic.
Emraan Hashmi explained, “It is some magic when music gets into the soul of a movie, and Qubool is one of them. Vishal has created a melody about to live a life full of emotion which beautifully carries the heart of our story.
Yami Gautam said, Qubool occupies the spaces of silence, looks, things left out, things left unspoken, things left out. It reflects the fundamental feelings of my character, her power, her weakness, her passion. The music of Haq is emotional based; it is centered on Indian melodies, stated composer Vishal Mishra. I wanted Qubool to sound naive, personal, but movie-like, to resonate with what the characters experience without saying too much.
Other emotional songs such as of Dil Tod Gaya will also be presented in the album of Haq, further establishing the emotional background of the film. Supported by Junglee Pictures Haq is set to be a formidable courtroom drama that breaks world with customs and immerses in faith, justice and love. Haq will hit the theatres on November 7, 2025.
