Mumbai: The long-awaited teaser poster of Varun Dhawan in the upcoming war movie Border 2 has finally been released and this has created a massive sensation on the firm of Bollywood and even the patriotic film lovers. The poster depicts Varun in all his battle mode holding a rifle and with the Indian Army uniform on him with his eyes set steel with determination.
In the image, Varun is at the centre of the action. His tranof becoming a gritty soldier is an indication of the authenticity and scale in the film. His transformation into a rough soldier highlights the film’s fidelity to verisimilitude and scale. His character is reportedly based on real-life war hero Colonel Hoshiar Singh Dahiya PVC, a Param Vir Chakra winner who was a legendary figure in his quest to protect his country in the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
The launch of this appearance also marks the beginning of a pushy promotional contest, and Varun look is set to launch the push prior to the movie being released on 23 January 2026 – the Republic Day weekend.

Border 2 is among the most expected movies on the Bollywood war drama genre. It is a tribute towards the soul and valor of the Indian Army. It is directed by Anurag Singh and produced by T-Series and J.P. Films through the support of veteran filmmakers like J.P. The movie will be released in theatres on January 23, 2026, right before Republic Day, and it will be an emotional, stirring, and action-filled movie to be proud of the country.
