Ranveer Singh Announces ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ Trailer Release Date; Spy Thriller Set for Massive March 19 Release

Ranveer Singh has revealed the trailer release date for Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy action sequel will drop its trailer on March 7 at 11:01 AM ahead of the film’s worldwide release on March 19, 2026.

Mumbai: The excitement around Dhurandhar: The Revenge just reached a new high. Following the days of speculation regarding the time when fans would finally have a proper look at the much-awaited sequel, actor Ranveer Singh has officially confirmed the day and time of the release of the official trailer.

Going to Instagram, Ranveer was posting impressive posters of the movie in various languages and said that the trailer would be released online on March 7 at 11:01 AM.The actor’s post quickly caught the attention of fans, with the comment section flooding with excitement.

In his caption, Ranveer wrote, “Brace yourself. Trailer out tomorrow 7th March at 11:01 AM. #DhurandharTheRevenge Releasing In Cinemas Worldwide on 19th March 2026 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.”

The rise of Hamza Ali Mazari

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film is the second installment in the Dhurandhar franchise. The first movie, Dhurandhar, was released in December 2025, and it broke numerous box office records both in India and abroad.

The following sequel is a continuation of the character of Hamza Ali Mazari played by Ranveer Singh. The story will be based in Lyari Town in Pakistan and will be set around the rise and the dominance of Hamza in the area. His history will also be addressed in the film as it reveals how Jaskirat Singh Rangi is later to turn out to become an Indian spy working within Pakistan.

Actor Arjun Rampal will play the main antagonist in the sequel as Major Iqbal. The film also features an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun.

Big release plans and box office clash

The makers have planned a mega theatrical release on March 19, 2026, with the film arriving in cinemas worldwide in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. The release date is strategically timed around festive celebrations such as Gudi Padwa and Ugadi, while also arriving just before Eid al-Fitr.

The sequel narrowly escaped a giant box office battle when Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups, which is produced by Yash, shuffled its release date off of March to June. Nevertheless, the film will also experience competition in certain regional markets. The Telugu version will premiere with Ustaad Bhagat Singh, which features Pawan Kalyan and in Kannada markets with Love Mocktail 3 which features Darling Krishna.

The film is written, directed and produced by Aditya Dhar, produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, and starring Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar.

With the trailer dropping soon and the film arriving in just a few weeks, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is already shaping up to be one of the biggest action spectacles of 2026.
