Mumbai: After maintaining a quiet presence on social media since becoming a mother, Katrina Kaif surprised fans with a bright and happy Holi post on March 3, 2026. The actor posted a vibrant picture of family life with husband Vicky Kaushal, brother in law Sunny Kaushal and sister Isabelle Kaif.
Along with the joyful snapshot, Katrina wrote, “The Happiest Happy Holi.” In the photograph they were all smiling broadly with green, pink and blue colors covering their faces. The backdrop of the outdoor and the earthy feel of the moment made the moment seem natural and warm, allowing fans a glimpse into her personal life.
First Personal Post Since Introducing Baby Vihaan
This Holi post appears to be Katrina’s first personal update since January, when she introduced her son to the world. Earlier this year, she and Vicky had shared an emotional announcement revealing their baby boy’s name, Vihaan Kaushal. The post featured the couple holding their son’s tiny hand and described him as their “Ray of Light.”
The couple welcomed their first child on November 7, 2025. Since then, they have mostly stayed away from the public eye, focusing on their new journey as parents.
Vicky Kaushal Praised Katrina Kaif’s Strength
Interestingly, Katrina Kaif made the festive update days after Vicky was talking about fatherhood in an awards event organized by The Hollywood Reporter India in Mumbai. In an open talk with Neha Dhupia on stage, Vicky shared about being a new dad.
He shared that their son is now three months old and said that at this stage, most of the responsibility lies with the mother. Calling himself a cheerleader for both Katrina and the baby, Vicky described Katrina as a true warrior and superhero for her strength during pregnancy and the grace with which she stepped into motherhood.
Katrina Kaif, by making her colourful Holi post, not only wished to her fans, but she also celebrated this beautiful new stage of her life in a rather subtle way. This joyful family moment was even more special to the fans who have not met her online recently.
