Mumbai: Remo D’Souza is supporting a heartfelt, humorous romance, rather than perfection. The film Tedhi Hain Par Meri Hain brings together Jitendra Kumar, known for his relatable screen presence, and newcomer Mahvash in a romantic comedy that promises honest characters, genuine laughter and real emotion. Pradeep Singh has written the project and Jayesh Pradhaan directed it, with Remo lending his name as presenter to provide the project with a broader platform.
A love story that embraces imperfection
Tedhi Hain Par Meri Hain is not your usual polished romance. The film leans into the idea that real relationships are a little crooked but deeply true. Remo D’Souza says the script’s grounded spirit and unique spark drew him to the project. He talks about the story as a celebration of finding your own kind of crazy in one another and the way Jitendra is naturally gifted to balance humour with heart is why he is the ideal lead.
Jitendra Kumar echoes that excitement. Jitendra Kumar claims that the title itself is the soul of the film and playing a very human, imperfect role is a refreshing challenge. For him the role is a chance to bring warmth and honesty to a hero who is lovable precisely because he is not perfect. Mahvash who takes the role of female protagonist describes the movie as delightfully messy and tells that she was pulled by the realness and familiarity of the characters.
A strong creative team and a soulful soundscape
Director Jayesh Pradhaan brings a distinct vision to the film. Known for his background as a choreographer on high profile projects, he now moves behind the camera to shape a narrative that balances comedy and heart. Writer Pradeep Singh gives the story its honest, lived in flavour while by the producers Ishan Shilpi Verma, Vishal Tyagi and Anwar Ali Khan as an associate producer under Kuree Studio and Shaisha Motion Pictures.
Adding another layer of promise is the music by national award winner Ismail Darbar. His participation indicates that the music will be a sensitive and musical companion to the story of the film, to make the flawed moments of the characters fall gently and lovingly.
Why this film stands out now
Audiences today respond to stories that reflect life rather than idealised fantasy. And that is exactly what Tedhi Hain Par Meri Hain targets when it comes to that appetite of relationships that are messy, funny and true. With Jitendra Kumar’s everyman charm and Mahvash’s fresh energy, the film aims to feel like people you might meet on a normal day but whose small, chaotic moments become deeply relatable on screen.
Remo’s presentation gives the film a visible boost. His interest in grounded narratives that still sparkle creatively helps position the movie as a feel good entertainer with heart. The combination of an authentic script, a director with a strong visual sense and music from a veteran composer makes this a refreshing package to the viewer seeking a variety of romantic comedy.
