Mumbai: Bollywood’s most favorite comedy filmmaker David Dhawan is back with another fun filled entertainer. His upcoming film, titled Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, starring Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde, and Mrunal Thakur, has officially been postponed to June 5, 2026. The movie was earlier slated to release on April 10, 2026, but the makers have now announced the new date with a bright and colorful poster.
Produced by Ramesh Taurani under the Tips Films banner, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai promises a perfect mix of drama, romance, and comedy. The movie is also features a stellar supporting cast with Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Chunky Panday, and Mouni Roy among others.

The production house shared the update on Instagram with a cheerful caption: “Drama bhi hona hai, comedy bhi — kyunki jab’ Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’,in cinemas on 5th June 2026!”
The announcement was also reposted by Varun Dhawan in his Instagram stories, which added to the excitement. This film marks another collaboration between the father-son duo David and Varun Dhawan, who have earlier delivered hits like Main Tera Hero and Coolie No. 1. People now cannot wait to find out what flavor of humour and romance this dynamic duo will bring to the big screen.
