Mumbai: After gaining nationwide fame through appearances on shows like Bigg Boss OTT Season 2, digital creator Elvish Yadav is now stepping into a completely new role: actor. Known for his bold remarks and headline-making moments – from comments about fellow creators to being linked with serious allegations – Elvish is writing a new chapter in his career with his first acting project.
The Show That Marks Elvish Yadav’s Debut
The series is titled Aukaat Ke Bahar and will stream exclusively on MX Player (by Amazon) for free. On November 25, Elvish Yadav released the official teaser. The teaser shows him in a boxing ring, then in a college setting, falling in love, and finally getting into a fight. It ends with the bold line: “Elvish bhai ke aage koi bol sakta hai kya.” The exact release date of the show has not been announced yet.
What the Story Looks Like
In the series Elvish plays Rajveer Ahlawat, a 19-year-old student from Safidon, Haryana. The story is set in a prestigious Delhi college where Rajveer’s world tilts after one defining moment. The teaser gives us visuals of him in boxing gear, walking into a vast campus, navigating hostel life, campus politics, and intense moments of proving himself. The show looks at pride, love, ambition and what happens when you are forced to fight for your place.
Supporting Cast and Platform Details
Elvish is joined by a strong ensemble including Nikhil Vijay, Hetal Gada and Malhaar Rathod in pivotal roles. It will stream on the MX Player app, Amazon shopping app, Prime video, Fire TV and Airtel Xstream, all free to watch.
A New Direction for Elvish Yadav
This move marks a big shift for Elvish from reality and social media stardom into scripted acting. After winning season 2 of Laughter Chefs Season 2 (alongside Karan Kundrra) and giving a heartfelt thanks to his fans, Elvish is clearly aiming for a new milestone. With the buzz building around his debut, audiences will be watching closely to see if he can translate his onscreen personality into a full-fledged acting performance.
Elvish Yadav began his career as a YouTuber and digital creator in 2016, building a large fan base with comedic sketches, reaction videos and lifestyle vlogs. His breakthrough into mainstream fame came in 2023 when he entered the reality show Bigg Boss OTT 2 (Hindi) as a wild-card contestant and went on to win, becoming the first wild-card entrant to lift the trophy.
During his journey, he also tried his hand in music videos and singing, and other reality competitions, and expanded his popularity outside of YouTube. Now, with his acting debut in Aukaat Ke Bahar, he is making his first formal move into scripted entertainment.
