Mumbai: The trailer of Do Deewane Seher Mein has finally been released, and it promises a romantic drama that feels refreshingly real. Starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur, the film moves away from idealised love stories and instead focuses on emotions that are messy, layered, and deeply human. Set against the backdrop of a busy urban city, the film captures how two individuals slowly build a connection while still figuring out themselves.

A love story rooted in emotional honesty
The trailer introduces Siddhant Chaturvedi as Shashank Sharma and Mrunal Thakur as Roshni, two people who meet through a marriage proposal but quickly realise how different they are. Shashank has a speech impediment that makes him lack in confidence and unwilling to communicate. At work, too, he is under constant stress and disapproval of his boss in marketing and this, along with his emotional vulnerability, exacerbates his emotional vulnerability.
Roshni, on the other hand, is dealing with her own internal battles. She is trying to understand her place in a chaotic world while also confronting body image issues and self doubt. First, she is unwilling to marry Shashank, and he seeks to know why, and this makes both of them engage in painful but straightforward discussions.
The trailer does not convey love as something immediate and flawless but emphasizes confused communication, emotional detachment, and intimate silence. Although they appear to be getting along, cracks come back, and viewers are unsure of the future of their flawed relationship.
A modern romance that feels lived in

What makes Do Deewane Seher Mein stand out is its grounded approach to romance. The interaction between Shashank and Roshni is based on the silence, unspoken feelings, and decisions that leave a lasting impact. The film suggests that love is not about finding the perfect partner but about learning to understand another person with patience and empathy.
Sharing the trailer on Instagram, the makers wrote, “Har love story perfect nahi hoti, kuch iss seher jaisi khubsurat bhi hoti hain! It’s time to be a part of an isq bhari kahani,” perfectly summing up the film’s tone.
Strong creative team and supporting cast
Written by Kaushal Shah, the film also stars Ila Arun, Joy Sengupta, Viraj Gehlani, and Sandeepa Dhar in key roles. The cinematography is done by Abhiruchi Chand and the editing is by Monisha Baldawa. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Prerna Singh, Umesh Kumar Bansal and Bharat Kumar Ranga are the producers of the film, in association with Ravi Udyawar Films. Presented by Zee Studios and Bhansali Productions, the film is set to release in theatres on February 20.

Following the positive response to its teaser, the trailer further raises expectations by presenting a romance that feels authentic and emotionally resonant. The chemistry between Sidhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur is naturally and truly warm, hence making their duo one of the most heartfelt on screen in this year.
With its focus on emotional truth rather than perfection, Do Deewane Seher Mein looks set to strike a chord with audiences seeking a relatable and heartfelt love story this Valentine season.
