Mumbai: Ranveer Singh’s much awaited spy thriller Dhurandhar finally has a new trailer launch date. The makers have officially confirmed that the trailer will now be unveiled on November 18, bringing fresh excitement among fans who have been waiting eagerly for updates on the film.
The trailer launch event is expected to be a huge affair with Ranveer Singh joining R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, writer director producer Aditya Dhar and producers Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar. The team is preparing for a grand showcase that promises a high energy reveal.
The event was earlier scheduled for last week but had to be postponed due to two major developments. The makers decided to delay the launch after news of veteran actor Dharmendra’s sudden health concerns. Out of respect for the senior star and the emotional atmosphere in the industry, the team felt it was best to push the event.
The second reason was the disturbance at the Red Fort which resulted in heightened security and disruption across major cities including Mumbai and Delhi. The makers even released a statement announcing that the trailer launch would be postponed as a mark of respect for the victims and their families. The team promised to return with a revised date and has now locked November 18.
Meanwhile Dhurandhar continues to create massive buzz. A few days ago the makers released powerful posters of R. Madhavan as The Charioteer of Karma Arjun Rampal as The Angel of Death and Sanjay Dutt as The Jinn. These glimpses have added intrigue around the characters and the world the film is set in.
With conditions now stabilised the team is ready to reveal what is being described as a massive visually spectacular and adrenaline filled trailer. Ranveer Singh’s return in a full action avatar has already raised expectations and the presence of a strong ensemble including Sanjay Dutt Akshaye Khanna R. Madhavan Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun has made the film one of the most talked about projects of the year.

Madhavan is said to be portraying a character inspired by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.
