Mumbai: As fans across the nation held their breath, the makers of the much-anticipated film Dhurandhar announced on 11 November 2025 that the trailer launch which was originally scheduled for 12 November in Mumbai, is being postponed. The decision is taken against two serious situations that is the health concerns of veteran actor Dharmendra and a tragic blast in Delhi.
Dhurandhar Trailer Launch Postponed
The trailer launch event, slated to take place at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in BKC, Mumbai, was to be a massive event with more that 2000 fans were expected to attend the trailer launch event. However, in a joint statement, the film’s producers, Jio Studios and B62 Studios along with lead actor Ranveer Singh and director Aditya Dhar, revealed: “The Dhurandhar trailer launch scheduled for 12th November has been postponed, as a mark of respect to the victims and families affected by yesterday’s Delhi blast. The revised date and details will be shared soon.”
The blast referenced occurred on 10 November near Delhi’s historic Red Fort area, leaving multiple casualties and deeply impacting the entertainment fraternity. Meanwhile, news of Dharmendra being hospitalised further stirred concern among Bollywood celebrities and fans alike.

Dhurandhar is an upcoming Hindi-language action-spy thriller written, directed and co-produced by Aditya Dhar, under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios. The film stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role, supported by a stellar ensemble including Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun. According to official sources, the story is “inspired by true events,” and explores themes of espionage, patriotism and the unseen warriors behind national security.
